(Wednesday 19 June, 2024, New York City, NY) – For its second international conference, BLISS (organized by the Brazilian Language Industry Association) will be accessible in multiple languages thanks to a partnership with KUDO AI Speech Translator. Attendees of the localization conference on June 20-22 will be able to choose their preferred language in which to follow the presentations, panel discussions, and keynotes, from a list including Portuguese and Spanish.
BLISS is the first non-profit association of language service companies in Brazil. Their goal is to develop and maintain a robust association capable of promoting their industry both in the internal and international markets. Their second annual conference, hosted in Rio de Janeiro, includes a two-day program delving into trends, learnings, and innovation from the international localization industry. This includes workshops for accelerating growth, the use of technology, and a panel looking forward at the future of the industry.
And with KUDO sponsoring the event as language technology partners, these sessions will be available in the language of attendees’ choice in real time, simply by scanning a QR code from their smartphones or tablets. This pulls up KUDO’s language selector in a new browser, from where they can select a language, then either plug in their headphones to hear the translated audio in their selected language or follow the subtitles on screen.
