ISE and Sports World Congress 2025 to Be Accessible in Multiple Languages Through Live Speech Translation and Captions Partner, KUDO

(Thursday 16 January 2025, New York) – For the third consecutive year, ISE’s official language accessibility partner, KUDO, will be providing AI speech translation and captions across several stages and conference rooms for the show’s 2025 edition. And running alongside ISE in Barcelona, Sports World Congress will also feature KUDO’s language accessibility technology in its full conference program for the first time. Attendees of both events will be able to access all the keynotes, panels, and presentations in the language of their choice by scanning a QR code from their smartphones or tablets, then following the translated audio and/or subtitles.

New for 2025, ISE’s event program will be based around five key topic areas identified as being industry megatrends: AI, Audio, Cybersecurity, Retail, and Sustainability. Aligning with the general thread that links them – innovation – each stage and conference room will feature a QR code which will allow attendees to access KUDO AI during every session. Congreso AVIXA’s Spanish language content will also be available in English and multiple other languages for non-Spanish speakers who wish to attend these presentations.

Sports World Congress, running in parallel from February 3 to 5, is a premier global event that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to explore the future of sports business and technology. Attendees include top sports stadiums across Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. With a diverse linguistic audience, the provision of live translation and captions in Spanish, Catalan, French, Arabic, and Portuguese during the conference will highlight the increasing demand for language accessibility technology in the international sports and entertainment industry.

Designed for ease of use during live events, KUDO AI requires no app download or account creation; scanning the QR code opens a new browser window from which attendees can select both an audio and captions language, depending on whether they wish to follow the translated speech or simply read the subtitles directly from their screen. Translated audio and captions are entirely AI-powered, in real time, and require around 1% of the bandwidth needed to stream an average YouTube video from a smartphone, making them easily accessible via 4G or the guest Wi-Fi available at both event sites.
